Tijolinhos UNIVALI

Tijolinhos is a custom dingbats typeface composed of geometric, modular elements inspired by the idea of assembly parts. Developed exclusively for UNIVALI (Universidade do Vale do Itajaí), the project was created to strengthen and extend the visual system of the university’s Schools of Knowledge brand.

More than just a decorative font, Tijolinhos was designed as a strategic visual tools, enabling the creation of patterns, symbols, and support graphics that reflect the institution’s values of structure, adaptability, and innovation. Each glyph serves as a “building block” that can be used independently or combined into more complex visual arrangements, supporting a wide range of applications across different touchpoints: from printed materials to digital environments, signage, and academic publications.

By integrating modularity with identity, the Tijolinhos font contributes to a cohesive yet flexible communication system, allowing for consistent brand expression across the many contexts and audiences of the university.
